May 26th, 2011 Suzi Koala is not a bear but mostly people call it teddy bear, koala bear, tree bear and also monkey bear while it is not a bear but it has resemblance in it’s appearance.The koala is broadly similar in appearance to the wombat but has a thicker coat, much larger ears, and longer limbs. The koala has large, sharp claws to assist with climbing tree trunks.The koala lives almost entirely on eucalyptus leaves.Koalas spend about three of their five active hours eating. Feeding occurs at any time of day, but usually at night. Koalas eat an average of 500 g (18 oz) of eucalyptus leaves each day.Koala is found in coastal regions of eastern and southern Australia while it’s not found in Tasmania or Western Australia.See some cute pics of lovely Koalas.

There are eight different genera in the family classified as rabbits, including the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), cottontail rabbits (genus Sylvilagus; 13 species), and the Amami rabbit (Pentalagus furnessi, an endangered species on Amami Ōshima, Japan). There are many other species of rabbit, and these, along with pikas and hares, make up the order Lagomorpha. The male is called a buck and the female is a doe; a young rabbit is a kitten or kit.
