I have a passion for vintage packaging even tough I’m not the biggest history fan. Besides this, a vintage design is a lot warmer that a modern look, because the last one tends to be more minimalist and made by cheaper materials for cutting costs. Also, I think that the contrast between a modern product and a vintage package is pretty cool, don’t you think? I think that back in the old days, the producers were more carefully with their products, and the attention to details and quality was a lot higher than today. Interesting Footwear Creative Design
January 1st, 2012 aranza Kobi Levi, Israel irregular footwear designer, fashioned an inspiring understanding of birds into well leather footwear for women. “Birds series” consists of three hand-made high-heeled shoes. Strange and for sure worth your attention. Designed marketable footwear in Italy, China and Brazil. Presented design in different exhibitions in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Tokyo, Verona, St.Etienne, Berlin etc’… ” In my imaginative footwear design the shoe is my canvas. The prompt to produce a new piece comes when an idea, a perception and/or an image comes to mind. The mixture of the image and footwear creates a new cross and the design/concept comes to life. The piece is a wearable sculpture. It is “alive” with/out the foot/body. Most of the inspirations are out of the “shoe-world”, and give the footwear a tremendous alteration. The result is usually humoristic with a exclusive point of view about footwear. Another feature of the creation is the understanding. All the pieces are hand-made in my studio.
