Typography is the ultimate form of science meeting art.Typography art is the technique of arranging type and type design, and using type modification to create a piece of work which can be visually captivating or to convey a thought provoking message or action. Type glyphs or fonts are created and manipulated using a variety of illustration techniques, i.e Photoshop, Gimp or Adobe Illustrator. The arrangement can be combined in multiple ways dependent on the look or imagery which is being portrayed.Typography is performed by Advertisers, typesetters, publishers, magazine designers, compositors, typographers, graphic designers, art students and directors, comic book artists and graffiti artists to name but a few.Digitization has opened up typography to a new generation of visual designers who are using their skills to create a new wave of typography art for the modern age.
