Interesting Place North America Ice Hotel

Hotel de Glace was the brainchild of Jacque Desbois who had study about the world’s initial Ice Hotel in Jukkasjarvi, Sweden in 1996. Five years shortly, Desbois erected the first ice hotel in Montgomery Falls, Quebec. Since then, over 700,000 people from around the world have visited the hotel, with 30,000 people experiencing the excitement of staying overnight. Located only 10 minutes from downtown Quebec City, Canada, the Hotel de Glace is America’s only ice hotel fully made of ice and snow. Using over 500 tons of ice and 15,000 tons of snow, the 32,000 square foot (2,973 sq m) ice hotel is a truly exclusive experience. This winter, Hotel de Glace will be open from January 6, 2012 – March 25, 2012. The hotel features 36 rooms and theme suites along with an inconceivable ice bar, cafe, wedding chapel and of path a massive ice slide. World Interesting Place Meteora Greece Photos

Meteora is a region in Thessaly (Central Greece) and Kalampaka is the city below the rock towers of Meteora. The thing that makes Meteora so individual is the monasteries on the top of the rock towers. The area of Meteora on the Greek mainland is a collection of six monasteries that were constructed on limestone rocks lots of centuries ago. Beautiful to look at both up close and from afar, each of the six Eastern Orthodox monasteries are unmoving inhabited to this day. Amazing Largest Residential Buildings Western Hemisphere

The site, formerly owned by New York Downtown Hospital, previously served as a parking lot. In November 2003, the hospital solicited requests for tenders from real estate companies to develop the property. Forest City Ratner Companies was selected at the end of 2003 and purchased the land and development rights in December 2004. At 76 floors and 870 feet tall (265m), New York by Gehry is the largest residential buildings in the Western Hemisphere and a particular addition to the iconic Manhattan skyline. For his first residential commission in New York City, master architect Frank Gehry has reinterpreted the design language of the standard Manhattan high-rise with undulating waves of stainless steel that replicate the changing light, transforming the exterior of the building throughout the day.The building features a staggering 903-units with over 200 exceptional layouts. The first five floors of New York by Gehry consist of commercial space along with a 100,000 square foot public school, the first ever built on private land.
