The PAL-V ONE (Personal Air and Land Vehicle) recently completed test flights. If flies all through the air similar to a gyrocopter with lift offer by a rotor and ahead impulsion generated by a push propeller on the back of the vehicle. Riders sit in the tight cockpit surrounded by aerodynamic bodywork. On the ground, PAL-V claims it accelerates like a sports car. What we found most intriguing is its steering system. The vehicle has three wheels and tilts into turns like a motorcycle. In testing footage, it looked plenty stable on the track. The PAL-V One can take off with ease thanks to its single rotor and propeller that unfold from the top of the car. Converting the PAL-V One from an airplane to car is also an easy process that takes about 10 minutes with the push of a button. The vehicle can fly at elevations below 4,000 feet, which is the airspace available for uncontrolled Visual Flight Rules (VFR) traffic.
