Paper Abstract Art Of Hypnotizing Origami Mandalas

Creative paper art formed by using single paper to create “Hypnotizing Origami Mandalas” by Japanese artist Yuko Nishimura is an abstract, contoured work of art. This art is reworks with single sheets of handmade paper which series is labeled as “Relief”. Her artwork of paper is just the paper folding techniques used in origami to transform the special Japanese paper known as kyokushi into compelling geometric patterns designs. Yuko Nishimura combines traditional methods with existing aesthetics across a monochromatic color scheme to make for one visually fascinating set of paper structures that echo the shape and visual pattern of mandalas. This artistic creation of her is just revealing the fold which shows her ability of such clean and curving lines which are absolutely astounding. Just check it out.

Great Origami Sculptures Artwork

The complicated origami models were folded into figure by Brian Chan, a 31-year-old craft trainer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. These vivid and gorgeous individuals appear to disclose the occupied complexity of life – and until now each is completed from a part of paper. He said: “I started by copying work of other authors about 20 years ago but behind a while I was good sufficient to start coming up with my own pieces. When I was growing up, my parents bought me a lot of origami books they start with simple models and then the diagrams get more and more composite near the end, so they are good sources for independent learning.”Mr Chan began making his magnificent sculptures when he was just ten years old and taught himself the Japanese art-form using books as a guide. Amazing Paper Artwork By Calvin Nicholls

Inspired by family, friends and by his high school art teacher, Calvin Nicholls enrolled in the three year graphic design program (1976-79)at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.Upon graduation he spent his first year in an advertising agency before opening his own freelance design studio in north Toronto during 1981.Experiments with paper sculpture began in 1984 and before long paper sculpture played a dominant role in most of his design clients’ projects and campaigns.It was a matter of time before his life-long interest in art and wildlife combined.He had just completed a bird of prey with outstretched wings for Noranda Recycled Papers when it struck him how well suited the layering of feathers was to the art of paper sculpture. He created a lot of amazing sculptures with papers. you can see some of his artwork pieces below.
