They can not survive in cage, not any thing can be safe in their presence but it’s quite lovley to have a squirrel as pet and keep him on his shoulder. Scientists discover some rare species around the world which are not available at pet shops. Rare species is a group of living organisms, either plants or animals that occur in small numbers, in a small region or small number of locations. Such species may be lost forever if we do not take quick action to stop their decline. If we cherish these species, like we do other rare and beautiful objects, these living organisms could become treasures of the highest magnitude.15 rare species of animals, that are endangered, are discussed below:
1.Yeti crab
The yeti crab also called Kiwa hirsuta was discovered on the floor of the South Pacific Ocean. It is about 6-inch long. The hairy pincers contain filamentous bacteria, which helps the animal to detoxify the poisons that are in the water where it lives. Being a recent discovery, nothing is known about its diet.
